And then, there are sedated little children hanging in arms of women and men with twisted limbs forced to beg. I recall years ago a friend asked looking at a child begging on the road, “Don’t they feel shame when they beg?”. And I remember saying with deep heartache, “These children are born on the roads. This is all they have seen and known. I wonder they even know anything about self-respect at all?”. And I truly wondered after that if they might be wanting to get out of such life at some stage? What kind of feelings those hearts might be carrying while begging from someone who is another human just like them? Every time they spread out a hand to beg, something breaks inside that man, that woman. We tremble to even imagine for our children being on roads begging but fail to allow a little compassion towards the little faces that look so disheartened in the scorching heat of summer and frozen bare feet in the bitterness of cold winter. **Vo1ce Of The One Calling Foundation extends hands of help to the poor and needy in the community. We reach out to the underprivileged with food, medical and mental health care, help building hope and self-esteem, guiding with education support and other basic needs of life.** [Join Us!](https://www.vo1ceoftheonecalling.org/donate?hsLang=en) [![vo1ce-of-the-one-calling-logo](https://www.vo1ceoftheonecalling.org/hs-fs/hubfs/vo1ceoftheonecalling-final-logo.png?width=500&height=500&name=vo1ceoftheonecalling-final-logo.png "vo1ce-of-the-one-calling-logo")](https://vo1ceoftheonecalling.org?hsLang=en) - [Home](https://www.vo1ceoftheonecalling.org?hsLang=en) - Our Initiatives - [About Us](https://www.vo1ceoftheonecalling.org/about-us?hsLang=en) - [Join Us!](https://www.vo1ceoftheonecalling.org/join-us?hsLang=en) - [Book an Appointment](https://www.vo1ceoftheonecalling.org/book-an-appointment-form?hsLang=en) - [Contact](https://www.vo1ceoftheonecalling.org/contact?hsLang=en) --- Privacy Policy · Legal · © 2026.
