About Us

How it all started!

A few years ago, God laid on my heart to start a platform where people can come and talk about how they feel and what their struggles are, a place of connection.

That was the birth of Vo1ce Of The One Calling Foundation.

Whilst in the process, I made myself learnt and am continuously learning about human feelings, struggles, loneliness, and vulnerabilities.

One shouldn’t need a diagnosis of a psychiatric illness to reach out for support.

I wanted to build a platform where people can come with confidence simply to connect and talk. Sometimes talking it out is more than enough to keep going.

These were some of the reasons that I pursued a Master’s in psychology, a certification Christian counselling, POCSO Trainer, The trainer(Train The Trainer), POSH and rights of women at workplaces, emotional struggles of the underprivileged, needs and longings of third gender community and a few other causes to equip myself with understanding to facilitate better. In this, my prime focus is reaching out with valuable biblical/ faith-based inputs in specific situations because we cannot take the Creator out while trying to fix the creation. Word of God through Christ Jesus is the only way to hope and healing. I want to be there to walk some extra miles with people through the seasons while God heals.

So, here I am and let’s come, trust, connect, talk, hope and heal.

About the founders:

Hello friends!

I am Dr. Preet Kamal Joshi, founder and director of Vo1ce Of The One Calling Foundation. But along with that, I am a woman, a wife, a mother, a daughter, a friend, and most importantly, a child of God. Professionally, I am a medical doctor, an MBA, a counseling psychologist and a Christian Counselor, a POCSO Trainer, The trainer(Train The Trainer), POSH trainer and a few other things. I have been associated with healthcare industry for over 26 years in both clinical and administrative capacity.

And before all of this that I am today, I was a wreck, a broken woman, a helpless mother, an abandoned daughter and a lost human. If you can think of anything worse that a person can be, I was most of it. If you feel familiar with deepest of pain, betrayal, fear, domestic violence, troubled childhood, child molestation, brokenness, loneliness, helplessness, or oppression, that makes two of us.

But that WAS me.

And

Now This is who I AM.
The handiwork of God. A new creation. Redeemed. Healed. Restored. And now Equipped, Empowered. To raise an army to help the needy.
Someone walked me from my “I was” to “I am”. His name is Jesus Christ.

And now “for me to live is Christ”
